A menudo se dice aquello de que no desaparece lo que muere, sino lo que se olvida. Y ésto queda patente viendo cómo, después de medio siglo desde su fallecimiento, el 17 de julio de 1955, aún se le siguen haciendo cientos de homenajes por todo el mundo a uno de los pilares más importantes de jazz; Billie Holiday o “Lady Day”.
